Awards Ceremony for the ‘Second Case Study Competition on Teaching Chinese to Foreigners in Chile’

On 28 August, the awards ceremony for the ‘Second Case Study Competition on Teaching Chinese to Foreigners in Chile’ was successfully held at Santo Tomás University (Viña del Mar Campus). The case studies presented, based on the reality of Chinese language teaching in the country and focusing on specific teaching challenges, provided practical and vivid examples for the international teaching of Chinese both in Chile and across Latin America. Undoubtedly, this event provides a boost to the development of teaching, with a focus on specialisation, professionalisation and digitalisation, as well as on improving the quality of international Chinese language teaching. It is worth noting that volunteer teacher Zhao Can won first prize. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to the 26 participants!
