First call

Gentlemen:

We are pleased to greet you and send you the First Call of the “VII International Congress of Chinese Teaching (CIECh)“.

The aim of this Congress is to provide a platform for exchange and cooperation around the teaching and research of the Chinese language.

The Congress will be held  on March 5 and 6, 2026 in Mexico City.

The VII Congress is co-organized by the Center for Asian and African Studies (CEAA) of El Colegio de México, the Department of Russian, Asian Languages and Modern Greek of the National School of Linguistic Languages and Translation (ENALLT) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Confucius Institute at UNAM, the Beijing University of Language and Culture (BLCU) and the Center for International Cooperation for Language Teaching (CLEC).

We extend a cordial invitation to professors, researchers and authorities of academic institutions related to the teaching, study and translation of the Chinese language in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, to participate by sending by email (congresochino@colmex.mx) a proposal in Spanish or Chinese (300–400 words or characters, respectively) in Word document, before December 15 of the current year, specifying: full name, institution of affiliation, place of residence, contact telephone number and email.
