Miguel Contreras Carrillo
Teacher specialized in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, with studies at Sun Yat-sen University. Since 2009 he has taught in a variety of academic and cultural settings, standing out for his work in promoting the Chinese language and culture. He has been a speaker at international congresses in Chile, Peru and Mexico on the teaching of Chinese. He is currently academic coordinator and professor at the Confucius Institute of the Autonomous University of Yucatán (UADY), Mexico.

Danilo Riaño
Master’s degree in International Mandarin Chinese Pedagogy from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU, 2019). He has more than 10 years of experience teaching Chinese and Spanish as foreign languages. His work has focused mainly on the use of technological tools applied to language teaching, the development of teaching materials and online language teaching. Since 2025 he has been part of the teaching staff of the Confucius Institute at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, where he has also served as academic coordinator since June 2026. In 2025 he won first place in Chinese Hero, a competition for teachers in LATAM and the Caribbean. China has also recognized his work: he received the Excellence in Pedagogical Implementation award at the Beijing Chinese Teaching Hero.

Liu Zongbao
Vice Dean and Associate Professor at the School of International Education of Anhui University; master’s supervisor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and in International Chinese Language Teaching. Member of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Modernization of Chinese Language Teaching and expert judge of the National Competition of International Chinese Teaching Cases for Graduate Students. He has led projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Language Commission, the Ministry of Education and the CLEC Foundation. His main research areas are modern Chinese grammar and the international teaching of Chinese. He has published the “Study on the Formation of Compound Nouns with Locative Particles in Chinese from a Cognitive Perspective” and has contributed to the “Practical Training Manual for the International Teaching of Chinese”, among other works. In 2019 he traveled to Chile to work on the international teaching of Chinese at the Confucius Institute of Santo Tomás University.

Fang Shengliang
Doctor of Literature, professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Literature of Anhui University, distinguished “Wanjiang Scholar” professor of Anhui Province, vice president of the Anhui Tongcheng School Studies Association and deputy editor-in-chief of the journal Research on Ancient Books. He currently serves as Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at Brest State University in Belarus. For a long time he has devoted himself to research on Qing dynasty poetry and prose, classical studies and Qing dynasty literature, Qing dynasty regional literature and culture, and the organization and study of ancient Chinese books. He has published monographs and critical editions of ancient texts and has led national and ministerial-level projects, including projects of the National Social Science Fund of China and the Ancient Books Commission of the Ministry of Education. He has also published more than 50 academic articles in prestigious specialized journals such as Literary Review, Research on Literature and Art and Literary Heritage. He has received a distinction from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Belarus and the highest honorary award of Pushkin State University of Brest.
