Second Call for Papers
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to greet you and share the Second Call for Proposals for the 7th International Conference on Chinese Language Teaching (CIECh).

The Conference will take place on March 5–6, 2026, at two venues in Mexico City:
El Colegio de México (COLMEX) and the Central Campus of Ciudad Universitaria, UNAM.
The event will be held in person.
To ensure broad and inclusive participation, the Conference offers two presentation formats:
a) On-site presentations
b) Pre-recorded presentations (10–15 minutes)
We extend a cordial invitation to professors, researchers, and academic authorities from institutions involved in the teaching, study, and translation of the Chinese language across Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
To facilitate wider participation, the submission deadline has been extended to January 15, 2026. Please include the following information with your proposal: full name, institutional affiliation, place of residence, contact phone number, and email address.
With a view toward a potential publication, we encourage submissions that demonstrate thematic relevance and adhere to the principles of originality, scholarly or pedagogical relevance, methodological rigor, clarity, and contribution to the field or to professional practice.

* Teaching of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation/tones
* Curriculum design (HSK 2.0, HSK 3.0)
* Assessment and feedback mechanisms
Theme 2. Culture and Interculturality in Teaching

* Festivals, literature, media, and collaborative projects
Theme 3. Translation, Mediation, and Interpretation
* Methodologies for teaching translation
* Experiences in translation projects
* Professional practice in interpreting
Theme 4. Teacher Professionalization and Development
* Training and certification programs
* Communities of practice and institutional management
* Professional development and working conditions
Theme 5. Technological Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in Teaching
* Challenges and opportunities of technological innovation in the classroom
* Use of digital resources and learning platforms
* Applications of artificial intelligence in Chinese language teaching
